Newbury Park High School standout Amelia Lech’s collegiate team wins game in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship on Friday, May 16

On Friday, May 16, former Newbury Park High School standout Amelia Lech’s current collegiate team the Auburn Tigers won 7-12 against the South Florida Bulls in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship.

The game took place at JoAnne Graf Field at the Seminole Softball Complex at 12:05 p.m. and was the first matchup against the South Florida Bulls in the tournament.

The Auburn Tigers’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 4 p.m. at JoAnne Graf Field at the Seminole Softball Complex.
