On Saturday, April 12, former Newbury Park High School standout Joie Steinkamp’s current college team, the Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros, lost 2-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Sonoma State Seawolves.
The game took place at Seawolf Softball Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Seawolves this season.
The Toros’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 1 p.m. at Toro Diamond against Cal State San Marcos Cougars.
