On Saturday, April 5, former Moorpark High School standout Garrett Yawn’s current college team, the LIU Sharks, won 11-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Mercyhurst Lakers.

The game took place at LIU Baseball Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Lakers this season.

The Sharks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 3 p.m. at LIU Baseball Stadium against Fairleigh Dickinson Knights.
