Now Hiring: PUBLIC SERVICE INTERN
Salary: $17 per hour

The County of Ventura is excited to present the Public Service Intern program. The program is geared toward students interested in embarking in a career in government service. The program objectives are as follows:
-To establish talent pipelines with various colleges and universities to assist the County in filling positions which require specialized technical expertise.
-To expose and market the benefits, rewards, and opportunities afforded to those who choose a career in public service.
-To allow the County to leverage the talents of highly capable individuals who are eager to demonstrate the skills they may bring to the table.
The ideal candidates will be currently enrolled in colleges or graduate school and will demonstrate a commitment to accomplishment and a disposition to provide the highest level of service. Specifically, we are seeking those who are enrolled in courses in general management, business or public administration, human resources management, accounting, finance, information technology or related fields which are highly applicable to public service at the County of Ventura.
