Volunteers are invited to help plant butterfly and bee native vegetation at Community Park (Kimball & Telephone Rds., Ventura). We are adding to the effort to restore the habitat and population of these species.We will be installing native plants along the benches at the west bike path side of the park. Meet at the west side of the park.Wear long pants, long sleeves, bring a shovel, bring a filled reusable water bottle. Kids ok with supervising adult at all times. No dogs please.Signing a Sierra Club waiver will be required at the start of the activities.

When attending a Sierra Club outing, the participant may be around both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. Therefore it is the participant’s choice to attend. If you are ill, don't come.This event is a collaboration of: East Ventura Community Council, and Ventura Sierra Club. Special Thank you to: City of Ventura
