County of Ventura issued the following announcement on November 25.
Strong Santa Ana winds will impact the area through Thanksgiving Day. The strongest winds will occur across Ventura and Los Angeles counties with northeast gusts of 50-70 MPH across the mountains and the Santa Clarita Valley. Across the coastal plain and coastal valleys, winds gusts of 35-55 MPH are expected. The combination of strong winds and very low relative humidity will bring critical fire weather conditions to most of Ventura and Los Angeles counties.
