Ventura College issued the following announcement on January 15.
Students, your physical and mental health are important to us. You can reduce stressful situations or negative thoughts in a variety of ways, including practicing mindfulness, staying physically active and connecting with friends or family.
We encourage you to make an appointment with a mental health counselor on campus if you feel overwhelmed or are struggling with feelings of sadness, anxiety or isolation. Remember, help happens here.
