County of Ventura - Government issued the following announcement on March 3.
It’s Women’s History Month and we’re kicking off our celebration spotlighting Dr. Theresa Cho, CEO of Ambulatory Care at the Ventura County Health Care Agency!
“Working for the County has opened many doors for me: learning and training to be a doctor, caring for patients, teaching the next generation of doctors, and growing as a leader. The best part of my work is that it aligns my personal commitment with the county’s mission to care for the most vulnerable patients in our community.
Women’s History Month is a time to remember women like Elizabeth Blackwell, who forged the way for all women physicians. It is a time to honor the pioneering women in my own family, like my grandmother who raised three daughters on her own after the Korean War. It is also a time to appreciate all the dedicated and accomplished women in our clinics who bring 100% to their work every day.”
Dr. Cho has been with County for 25 years and we are so grateful for her service! She is pictured during the COVID-19 mobile vaccination rollout to farmworkers in VC.
