County of Ventura - Government issued the following announcement on March 2.
What a beautiful day! Shravan Dasoju, Senior Agricultural Inspector/Biologist with the Agricultural Commissioner’s Office was in Ojai today certifying a grower who is growing a new citrus variety! This is part of the efforts of the Consumer Protection Program, which helps maintain the integrity of our food system. Shravan and his team inspect the quality of products and certify growers selling at certified farmer’s markets to make sure you know where your produce comes from, among many other efforts!
“You can tell that a lot of the growers here in Ventura County are passionate about what they do. One of the best parts of my job is seeing their passion and commitment. I have a deep appreciation for their work!”
