Ventura College issued the following announcement on March 22.
"Being the Student Trustee has allowed me to create friendships with students throughout our District and network with other Student Trustees throughout the state. It is a unique opportunity to serve as an elected official, contribute to Board discussions, and make decisions that benefit the community and current and future students,” says Bryan Rodriguez, VCCCD Student Trustee.

Applications for Student Trustee or Associated Students positions are due April 7 at noon.
