The Point Mugu Air Show takes flight in one week! The US Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels, and the US Air Force Demonstration Squadron, the Thunderbirds, will be co-headlining this spectacular event that showcases their pilots' incredible talent, teamwork, and professionalism.
This year's air show will be only the third time that the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds have performed at the same airshow, and the first time at Point Mugu. The Point Mugu Air Show is Ventura County's largest public event, so join in and celebrate the Navy's 75th anniversary at Point Mugu!
The show will have two dates, March 18 and 19, with gates opening at 8 a.m. and performances starting at 12 p.m. Parking, admission, and blanket seating are free, with upgraded preferred seating options available.
SPECIAL NOTE: The Point Mugu Air Show, scheduled for March 18th and 19th, is an event open to the public. There is, however, expected to be additional air show activity on March 17th that will be closed to the public. Please be advised that there will be significant vehicular traffic and aircraft noise on this day as well.
A Message from Ventura County Department of Airports: Upcoming C-40 Military Aircraft Activity
A large military personnel transport aircraft (a C-40) operated by the United States Navy (similar to the one in the attached photo) will be utilizing Camarillo Airport (CMA) and the surrounding air space on Saturday, March 18th, to transport military personnel.
The activity is being diverted to CMA from Point Mugu due to the Point Mugu Air Show event scheduled for Friday, March 17 through Sunday, March 19th.
The Ventura County Department of Airports has a continued partnership with the United States Navy (Point Mugu) and the Air National Guard Unit bases. We are committed to providing support when needed to help ensure safe and effective operations.
