On Sunday, March 30, former Newbury Park High School standout Amelia Lech’s current college team, the Auburn Tigers, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Florida Gators.
The game took place at Jane B. Moore Field. This was their third matchup against the Gators this season.
The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 3 p.m. at John Cropp Stadium against Kentucky Wildcats.
