County of Ventura - Government issued the following announcement on January 28.
Congratulations to our newest certified Green Business - Olivares and Alexander Insurance Services All State in Oak View! Now one of 48 green businesses in Ventura County! Here are some of the changes they made with the help of our Green Business program:
- Upgraded LED lightbulbs
- Enhanced insulation, including wrapping their water heater
- Reduced the use of trash bags and switched to biodegradable bags where possible
- Added a new water filter and ditched plastic water bottles
When given the certificate Owner, Candice Alexander said, “It feels so good coming to work every day knowing that our office is making a difference for our environment!”
