Hey Pirates! Would you like to compete in our Diversity Festival Poetry Slam this April at Oxnard College?
Start preparing now! This month we are hosting four workshops to help you prepare to compete in the Poetry Slam on April 12.
Workshops will be held March 2, 9, 16 and 23 via Zoom.
The first workshop is Personal is Political with Matt Sedillo on Thursday, March 2 from 11 a.m. to noon.
Matt Sedillo has been described as the "best political poet in America" as well as "the poet laureate of the struggle" by academics, poets, and journalists alike.
