Reflecting on the season, the acrostic "LENT" — “Let’s End Negative Thinking” — serves as a call to choose hope, action, and faith.

The university's "Peace by Piece" initiative embodies this vision. It encourages involvement from the university's community in efforts to bring peace to wider societal contexts. A key element is "Perspectives," an asynchronous online learning module by the Constructive Dialogue Institute. This program aids participants in handling challenging conversations, cultivating understanding despite differing viewpoints, and is considered a step towards peace.
